Five Customer Experience Questions to Revisit in 2026

A practical review of handoffs, knowledge, scheduling, events and operating cost.

A practical review of handoffs, knowledge, scheduling, events and operating cost.

    For cx leaders and founders

Where does the customer have to start again?

Map one recent support request from the first message to the final answer. Mark each point where the customer repeated information, changed tools or waited for another owner. Those are useful improvement candidates. Buying more channels does not, by itself, remove these handoffs. Keep the systems that do an essential job and decide what information must accompany the next step.

Can the first answer be trusted?

An AI answer depends on the content, permissions and workflow around it. Give every important policy an owner and review date. Test conflicting documents, missing information and requests the assistant should pass to a person. Measure whether the customer received a useful answer and whether the issue reopened. A conversation ending is not sufficient evidence of resolution.

When would a conversation benefit from video?

Video and screen sharing can help when a customer needs to show a problem. They can also be inconvenient or inaccessible. Offer a choice and preserve a written route. In a pilot, compare similar cases using resolution time, repeat contacts and customer feedback. Do not assume a fixed improvement percentage from adding video.

Does scheduling remove work or move it?

Test availability, time zones, cancellations, reassignment and what happens when nobody is available. Trace the confirmation to the correct person and calendar. A branded booking page is useful only when the operational result is reliable. Instaconnect offers routing forms and team booking; external calendar conflict checks and write-back are future scope.

    What happens after the event?

Name the owner of attendee follow-up before opening registration. Specify which registration and attendance fields must reach your CRM, how duplicates are handled and what consent permits. Recordings can support later content, but editing and distribution still require time. Instaconnect’s event product is InstaMeet; InstaStudio provides supported recordings, transcripts and summaries.

Make a decision using a small pilot

Choose one workflow, a representative group of customers and a measurable acceptance condition. Keep a baseline, log failures and include migration and administration in the cost estimate. Instaconnect combines these customer-facing products in one workspace with shared roles. A single customer record spanning every module is future scope, so a common login should not be treated as proof of unified data.
